We want customers to understand what they are purchasing before they pay.
This policy explains our approach to refunds and cancellations. It does not limit your statutory consumer rights.
1. Digital downloads
Some Talk Time Kids products are supplied as digital content.
Where you request immediate access to digital content, we may ask you during checkout to expressly consent to receiving the digital content immediately and acknowledge that this may affect your statutory right to cancel once supply begins.
Where the applicable legal requirements for immediate digital supply have been satisfied, you may lose your statutory 14-day cancellation right once supply of that digital content begins.
This does not remove your statutory rights where digital content is faulty, misdescribed or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
2. Online courses
Cancellation and refund rights for a particular course may depend upon the nature of the course and when access or delivery begins.
Any additional course-specific refund conditions will be clearly stated on the relevant sales page before purchase.
Nothing in a course-specific policy removes statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
3. Subscriptions and memberships
Where Talk Time Kids offers a recurring subscription or membership, the price and billing frequency will be displayed before purchase.
You may cancel in accordance with the cancellation instructions supplied with that subscription.
Unless otherwise stated, cancellation will prevent the next renewal payment and access will normally continue until the end of the period already paid for.
Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to reimbursement of previous payments, although statutory cancellation and refund rights may apply depending upon the circumstances.
We will comply with applicable UK consumer law governing subscription contracts.
4. Duplicate or incorrect payments
If you believe you have been charged twice or an incorrect amount has been taken, contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible.
Please include your name, purchase email and order/reference number if available.
5. Problems accessing a purchase
If you have paid for a digital product or course but cannot access it, please contact us before requesting a chargeback so that we have an opportunity to resolve the problem.
We will investigate legitimate access problems and take appropriate action.
6. Faulty or misdescribed digital content
Your statutory rights are unaffected.
If digital content is faulty, does not match its description or does not meet applicable legal requirements, you may be entitled to remedies under UK consumer law.
Please contact us with details of the problem.
7. How to request a cancellation or refund
Email:
Please provide:
your name;
the email address used for purchase;
the product or subscription purchased;
your order/reference number where available; and
the reason for contacting us.
We will respond as soon as reasonably practicable.
8. Payment disputes
If something has gone wrong with your purchase, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to resolve the issue.
This does not affect any rights you may have through your payment provider or under applicable law.
